abstract: The paper includes some concise reflections on three broad issues that were discussed at a recent conference. The conference was held at the University of Calabria on topical constitutional issues that are still being proposed for constitutional revision by the Meloni government. In particular, the paper examines the revision of the parliamentary form of government from the perspective of the direct election of the Prime Minister by the electoral body, with its impacts on the parliamentary majority, the powers of Parliament and the prerogatives of the President of the Republic. In addition, the contribution analyzes the proposals, now concerned by the Constitutional Court’s censure of unconstitutionality, to revise regionalism from the perspective of the implementation of article 116.3 Const. Finally, the essay studies the rethinking of relations, having as its object above all the separation of careers, between the judiciary judging and the judiciary, which raise the question that whether we are not (already) in the presence of a process of revision of the entire form of state (unitary and social).
